Sam’s Models publishes statistical projections for sporting events. It is not betting advice, it is not a tip service, and nothing on it is a recommendation to place any wager.
Everything here is published for informational and entertainment purposes. What you do with it is your decision alone, and the consequences of that decision are yours alone.
This site publishes the output of statistical models built on publicly available sports data — historical box scores, play-by-play records, team and player statistics, injury reports and posted market numbers. The models estimate likely outcomes. They produce numbers, and those numbers are displayed as they come out.
A projection is an estimate of an average outcome across many hypothetical repetitions of an event that will in fact happen exactly once. A player projected for 24.6 points will not score 24.6 points. The number describes the centre of a distribution, not a prediction of what will occur, and the distribution is wide.
Where a number on this site has been set by hand rather than produced by the model, it is labelled as such on the page it appears on.

Past performance does not indicate future results. Any record, accuracy figure or historical result published on this site describes what has already happened. It does not predict what will happen next and should not be relied on as though it did.
